Life is beautiful, but health is fragile…

Hereditary spastic ataxia with a dominant gene (Magdalen Islands).

“Hello, I’d like to encourage you to enjoy the present moment without thinking about the past. I used to be a speech therapist (and CHSLD care worker) who loved all sports. One day on my 28th birthday, a fortune-teller told me that in a few years my life would change. I thought I’d be making money, but no, at 41, illness turned my life upside down. After reacting badly (at first), I realize that I appreciate life a lot more and that I can’t change anything about medicine and research. This doesn’t stop me from hoping for the future and trying to “stay active”. Looking back, I can say that the love of my wife (Line) and my family and friends has been essential to my progress…”.
